Are you using one of copywritings most proven argument structures to boost your copy success?

One of copywritings tried and true work horses for writing a sales argument is the problem/solution structure.

Four years ago when I first started studying copywriting…this was the one structure I learned about more than any other structure.

“People are motivated by their pain.”

That’s all I would here.

Since then, I’ve used any one of eight structures that work really well  for creating a problem solution argument.

These by far are not all of the problem/solution structures there is.

It’s just that these have proven to work in different advertising campaigns.

Over the next two posts I’ll cover exactly what these structures are.

Social proof – a copywriters secret weapon

Here’s a blog/website that I just recently came across.

It doesn’t focusing on copywriting….but it still contains a few gems about getting testimonials that can help you with creating results getting copy.

I was visiting Michael Fortin’s website when I saw a review for speed copy secrets. (fastfoodcopywriting is Roberts name for the product. Speed copy secrets is Michaels redirect. You know how it works online so don’t complain. I’m not an affiliate by the way)

Michaels review was that he recommended the product.

For example…If you had a product you were selling and you needed to write a salesletter really fast…then this product could help you do that.

I haven’t purchased the product I can’t say just how good it is.

Although, I am a copywritng junkie…so I just my check it out sometime this week.

If I do..I’ll let you know what I find.


I had never heard of Robert so I decided to check out his website/blog

Here’s what I found.

Robert does have some really useful content.

Since I design websites as well I found his entire site helpful.

But, for you…from a copwriting aspect.

Here’s what I thought would be of use to you.

He has a post about testimonials and how you can get them.

One copywriting site that deserves a visit from you as soon as possible

First up….

A quick post for a copywriting website that if you don’t currently have listed in your blog roll then you should.

First, before I give you the name… I must admit something.

I didn’t come across this website until a little over two years ago.

Not because I wasn’t looking for new copywriters to learn from….

Because I certainly was…

But because my mind was being filled to brim with copywriting knowledge…and I just couldn’t add anything else at that time. With piles and piles of books standing a full foot off of my desk…my goal became to simply absorb and learn what I was being taught.

The turning point

While online, I received an email that had an mp3 and a transcript of an interview with a person whom was being referred to as a copywriting legend.

I read the transcript of the interview ..I don’t remember who the interviewer was that was doing  the interview…

But I was impressed.

I had to find out more about Gary B.

So off to the old trusty search engine I went.

A search on google turned up a website.

Now, I’m really excited.

I can learn more about copywriting from a master copywriter who’s been where I want to go.

How cool is that?

Fast forward two years.

And it’s been a pleasure reading his bullets ever since.

Who is Gary B you ask?

It’s short for Gary Bencivenga.

His marketing bullets should be laminated and placed in every aspiring copywriters swipefile.

Here is my newest blog that I’ve dedicated strictly to the art of copywriting.

I say art because…it’s just that…an art that has to be learned over time.

This is my personal opinion of course.

But after studying copywriting now for the past four years….

I’m amazed at how much my life has changed because of it.

And yet I still have so much more to learn.

So whether you’re a master copywriter, or a copywriting cub, I hope that you will join me on my journey.
